I got automated email from JetBlue last Sunday that my flight to Boston was delayed. On Friday, I got automated email from JetBlue that my flight was delayed returning from Boston. Gratefully I was not on any JetBlue flight this week as my trip to Boston was completely canceled. So did not have to deal with being delayed. I love being home getting email that the flight that I am not on is delayed. It is a horrible attitude since it is packed with people who are on the flight and who are delayed. It is the same attitude that spurs me to watch the news on the night before Thanksgiving to see all the traffic that I am not in.
It is interesting to note that I have four experiences with JetBlue. One actual trip to Florida and this past canceled trip to Boston. Three of the four trips, the JetBlue flight was delayed. 25% is not a commendable on-time percentage. Next trip I will ask for Southwest which, in my limited flying experience, has usually been on-time.
