Comfortable Camping

We are going to attempt camping this year. Not the wilderness/backpacking type of camping, rather the camping next to your mini-van with extension cords coming from your in-laws house type of camping. Having the goal of making sure it is as little like camping as possible, I've started doing some research on how to make things as comfortable as possible. If there are experienced campers out there who know some good tricks please let us know. Here is what I have so far:

Facilities
• Large multi-room tent
• Pack everything in plastic bins to keep things dry and double as light stands
• Cots for everyone
• Chairs for everyone
• Lots of rope
• Basic tools including multi-tool
• Tarp over the tent
• Tarp under the tent
• Tarp over wash/up area
• Clothes Pins
• Store stuff in the van at night

Electricity and Lighting
• Lots of extension cords
• Power strip
• Lamps and reading lights
• Flashlights
• Headlamps (and batteries)
• Outdoor lights (white Christmas light string maybe)

Kitchen
• Electric cooler for milk and snacks
• S’more supplies
• Basic utensils
• Bowls
• Cups
• Dish soap
• Sponges
• Portable water jug/container
• Dish towels

Bathroom
• Hand Towels
• TP
• Wet wipes
• Hand sanitizer
• Wash basin – Rubbermaid bin maybe
• Camping toilet (for night time use)
• Solar shower for hot water?

Bedroom
• Sleeping bags
• Pillows
• Sheets
• Mattress Pads
• Use bins for end tables

Entertainment
• Campfire supplies
• Matches
• Games and cards
• Books and writing material

Bugs, Dirt and Moisture management
• Citronella candles
• Bug spray
• Entrance rug
• Trash bags
• Rain ponchos
• Battery vacuum and charger
• Hand broom and dust-bin
• Add thin layer of soft foam as a gasket around bin lid (maybe us locking lid) to keep bugs out
• Fly swatter

This sounds exactly like my husband's type of camping... except for the cards & games which he completely despises. Just reading material for him - and gluten-free smore supplies.
