Familiar Field, Fresh Light

For 17 years I have looked down the street to the farm field. When the farm dumps mountains of manure on the field I don't have to even look to know it is there. At times the light is right and the field is full of color and shadows. When that happens, I grab my camera and run down to try to capture it. Having photographed it, it is no longer the same old field at the end of the road. It is a lovely model waiting to become art.

Although, not exactly art, here are some attempts to photograph the model in her late afternoon glory.

These are lovely pictures, Drew. There is something captivating about them. Thank you for sharing!

By the way, just yesterday, I was thinking that it had been a long time since I'd seen a post here or on Diane's site - what a pleasant surprise to find one this morning!
